Being healthy is not just about being sexy and fit, it's more about the lifestyle. People nowadays are doing many ways just to keep themselves healthy. In response to this, the Philippine Sports Commission, the Sports Development Division and the City Mayor's Office conduct the Laro't Saya sa Parke Activity.

This activity aims to promote camaraderie, fitness, healthy lifestyle and fun in every member of the Pinoy family. This is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday from October 3, 2015 until December 20, 2015, 6:00 to 8:00 in the morning at People's Park, Davao City.

There will be activities such as aerobics/zumba, sepak takraw, badminton, chess, rugby football, volleyball, football/futsal, taekwondo & Karatedo/Bushido.

We all have learned that Sepak Takraw is the National Sport of the Philippines. But this is not a native sport in the country.
Etymology of Sepak Takraw- "Sepak" is the Malay word for kick and "takraw" is the Thai
word for a woven ball, therefore sepak takraw quite literally means to
kick ball. The choosing of this name for the sport was essentially a
compromise between Malaysia and Thailand, the two powerhouse countries
of the sport.
