"AN ORDER CREATING A TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP (TWG) TO FACILITATE THE PROCESS OF DESILTING OPERATIONS IN THE RIVERS AND STREAMS IN THE WATERSHED AREAS OF DAVAO CITY"
In 2015, a Technical Working Group (TWG) was created through Ordinance No. 0333-15 who shall be responsible for all desilting operations in all rivers and streams within the watershed areas where such operations are needed. The enactment of Executive Order No. 09 Series of 2018 is to further address and strengthen the Ordinance by creating a TWG to FACILITATE the process of desilting operations in the rivers and streams in the watershed areas of Davao City.
The TWG is spearheaded by the City Engineer with DPWH XI, Davao City Mining Regulatory Board, Mines and Geosciences Bureau and CENRO as members.
