Executive Order No. 23


AN ORDER CREATING THE STEERING COMMITTEE OF THE RAFAEL S. CASTILLO RESETTLEMENT PROJECT, ITS RESPONSIBILITY AND FUNCTIONS

 The heirs of Rafael and Guadalupe Castillo are the titleholders of lots located in Ma-a Davao City under the Original Certificate Title (OCT) No. 0-337 with an area of 57, 592 square meters, and OCT No. 335 with an area of 41, 662 square meters. They have proposed to donate the property by OCT No. 335 to the City Government of Davao as a relocation site for the informal settlers in Lot 337 as well as those who have been in Lot 335. These informal settlers were formed as beneficiaries of the proposal and are now known as United Businas Muslim Christian Neighborhood Association of San Rafael (UBMCNA).
As Sanggunian Panlunsod passed and approved Resolution No. 01608-15, Series of 2015 relative to the Donation of a Real Property located in Ma-a, Davao City with an area of 41, 662 square meters last march 6, 2015, a memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was duly entered and signed between the City Government of Davao by Hon. Rodrigo R. Duterte, City Mayor, heirs of Rafael S. Castillo and Guadalupe Castillo represented by Atty. Antonio C. Cabreros Jr. on March 20, 2015. The creation of the Steering Committee of San Rafael S. Castillo Resettlement Project and its responsibility and functions are under Executive Order No. 23, Series of 2015. Through the Steering Committee of the City Government of Davao will assist in the subdivision and land titling of Lot 335.
