The AidWatch Philippines, a broad-based network of civil society organizations, conducted the Mindanao-wide Consultation on Civil Society Organizations (CSOS) and Aid Effectiveness last June 25-27, 2008 at the Grand Men Seng Hotel.
The said consultation is part on an ongoing national level consultation and discussion on civil society and aid effectiveness in the lead-up towards the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Accra, Ghana in September 2008 and beyond.
On the last day of consultation and CSO meeting, Acting Mayor Hon. Mabel Sunga Acosta delivered her welcome address in behalf of the City Government of Davao for the various stakeholders with donors and government representatives.
