Office of Councilor Mabel Sunga Acosta participated in the Coke Halika Charity Workout 2008

Last Saturday October 10, 2008, the Office of Councilor Mabel Sunga Acosta participated in the Coke Halika Charity Workout 2008 held at the Davao City Rizal park. It is a free charity workout where every calorie burned by participants is a corresponding one peso for the beneficiary.

Beneficiary of the said event is the SOS Children's Village Davao and Feed the Children Foundation of the Philippines (FCFP). Participants who were in their proper workout attire including rubber shoes received complimentary drinks and T-shirt from coca-cola.

Almost 85,000 calories were burned during the said activity participated by varios government and non government agencies spearheaded by the Office of Vice Mayor Sara Duterte. PBA star Kenneth Duremdes joined in the Davao City workout along with the celebrity comedian Wilma Doesnt who hosted the event.

The Coke Halika Charity Workout 2008 is a project of the Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines supported by the City Government of Davao spearheaded by Acting City Mayor Sara Duterte.
