A New Voter's Guide to the Philippine Government
The Pag-ibig is a government agency program which provides Filipinos a national savings program and an affordable financing program. By paying on installment basis, a maximum of P100 a month, a member is now entitled to a savings fund which can be withdrawn during death of a family member, retirement, after 20 years of payment, permanent or total disability, damaged mental health and etc.
The Pag-ibig also provides loan programs. These loan programs are:
1. The Multi-purpose loan program which provides a financing program for educational, minor house repairs, medical and livelihood needs;
2. The Calamity program which can be used as a temporary relief for those affected by calamities and natural disasters;
3. The Housing Loan Program which can be used for putting up residential houses.
