Proclamation No. 688 declares July 14-23, 2012-2022 as the Philippine Decade of Persons with Disabilities Week which culminates on the birth date of the sublime paralytic Apolinario Mabini, in which he has influenced the declaration of the disability prevention and rehabilitation. Proclamation no. 6, series of 2014 encourages citizens, Davao City based agencies, NGO's, and other private organizations to take part in this good cause.
