The supplies are finally in good hands!
Remember our last post regarding the medical and surgical supplies that were donated to the Souther Philippines Medical Center? Those were already given to the appropriate agencies that may utilize it the most.

SPMC, led by Dr. Vega, spearheaded the Acceptance Ceremony that was held inside the Japanese donated building. The management invited the City Health, Central 911, Camp Panacan and some members of the Philippine Navy to receive the donations that came all the way from the USA. Goods varied from large bandages to various surgical supplies.

The event was graced by the City Administrator himself, Atty. Melchor Quitain representing the City Mayor. And of course, Coun. Mabel Sunga Acosta, sister of Dr. Dario Sunga who is a member if the Montero Medical Missions.

Montero Medical Missions is a non profit organization committed to recruiting expatriate
physicians and allied health professionals in the United States to get
involved in medical missions, create sustainable projects and share
medical knowledge in their respective countries of origin.(monteromedicalmissions.blogspot.com)
Everyone gladly accepted the supplies that were given by people who care and are passionate to service. According to Atty. Quitain, these are the kinds of blessings that we hope not to use. However, we are still thankful to the donors because this means they care.

The ceremony was quick and the recipient agencies brought the supplies to their offices with gladness.
