12th Acosta Cup Day 1 Update

The 12th Acosta Cup has finally opened last Saturday, October 10, 2015. The event was launched with a Ceremonial Kick Off led by Juan Rodolfo Rey V. Sarenas III, Charles Maxey, representing Comm. Butch Ramirez of City Sports, Kag. Ruthy Germentiza from Bucana, King Quimpan of Mindanao Journal and of course 1st District City Councilor and Kaya Natin Champion Mabel Sunga Acosta. It was then followed by some short messages of the guests and Coun. Acosta.

Right after the ceremony, the first game has begun with the excited players of PCT Khanj against ADdU Lady Knights. The Lady Knights were not able to show proclaiming the PCT Khanj winner by default. This was then followed by the 2nd Game between UP Mindanao vs. Soya Football Club. With the score of 10-0, SOYA wrapped up the first day with a victory over UP Mindanao.

Acosta Cup day 1 was also graced by the Davao Football Association Board of Director Member Albert Ryan Lim, Secretary General Atty. Janice Celestial, 911 Medical Team and of course Team Acosta.
