The area was full!
Team Acosta held a very successful Free Medical check-up at Brgy. Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya last November 21, 2015. Residents of the barangay gathered early in the Day Care Center to avail the free services offered. Mothers brought their children with them to benefit the medical check up offered by the City Health Office spearheaded by Dr. Lumera Lagapa and assisted by Day Care Teachers Ms. Armie Liza Dacal and Ms. Liza Cabellon. The doctor conducted a check-up for the children and senior citizens. Team Acosta gave Adult medicines but the Pedia medicines were sponsored by the City Health office.

Team Acosta also tapped the City Civil Registrar's Office to address concerns regarding Birth certificates and other related matters. Furthermore, Friendly Care also gave Family Planning counselling for the parents present. The team of Dr. Ruelo Vidanes of Vidanes Eyecare also served the community by giving free eye check up and big discounts for the frames and lenses.

While the people are waiting for their turn, Team Acosta served the signature delicious Tuna Moringa Lugaw. The people enjoyed their hot cup of lugaw in the morning as they avail the free services at hand. Team Acosta also conducted a raffle draw giving out Team Acosta mugs, shirts, and liquid soaps for the lucky winners.

Team Acosta is also very thankful for the support and presence of Kagawad Winnie Inutan, Kag. Gavan and Kag. Allan Javier as well as Purok Leader Mayang Blando.

The activity ended very successfully and all the participants were very satisfied of the services they availed for free.
