Locally, stakeholders has been conducting activities that prepares them to the changes and developments the integration may bring.
Last January 28-29, 2016, the Certs_Educational Services, Inc. and Asian+ Council of Leaders, Administrations, Deans and Educators in Business (ACLADEB) Foundation, Inc. held the ASEAN+ Convention, this time in Davao City. The event took place at The Ritz Hotel, Garden Oases with various guests and VIPs invited to grace the event.

In recognition of the excellent works of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in Davao City, the group gave a plaque of appreciation to the good Mayor for his remarkable works in the City through the years. During the event, First District Coun. Mabel Sunga Acosta received the plaque in behalf of the mayor.

This convention has been running around the Philippines discussing vital issues and agenda revolving regional cooperation in Southeast Asia and Asia as a whole.
