On it's fifth year, of Dugong Bughaw Blood Letting Day, the Ateneo de Davao University managed to surpass last year's record of blood donors. This year, the total blood donations reached 280 bags.
The half day activity gathered school administrators, teachers, staff, students, policemen, and many others. The activity aimed to collectively contribute to the blood supply of the city in response to the increasing blood demand due to the growing incidents needing blood.

Blood donors went to Ateneo High School positively, knowing they can help the people of their blood donation. Being a donor gives wonderful health benefits like: good health, reduces risk of heart disease, burn calories and reduces risk of cancer.
