In Article V Section 12 of Republic Act No. 9184 which provides that the BAC shall be responsible for ensuring that the Procuring Entity abides by the standards set forth under RA 9184 and its IRR-A. Article V Section 11 of Republic Act No. 9184, provides that each Procuring Entity shall establish a single BAC for its procurement. The BAC shall have atleast five (5) members but not more that seven (7) members.
The composition of BAC of the City Government of Davao are as follows:
1. Erwin P. Alparaque- Human Resource Management Officer
2. Atty. Lawrence D. Batinding- Asst. City Administrator for Operations
3. Ma. Luisa T. Bermudo- City Social Services & Development Officer
4. Atty. Leo Anthony R. Braceros- City Civil Registrar
5. Atty. Osmundo P. Villanueva Jr.- OIC, City Legal Office
