In compliance to the Executive Order No. 773, on April 7, 2009, the Office of the City Mayor issued Executive Order No. 10. Seeking for a more efficient government community collaboration, there is a need to reconstitute and/or reorganize the membership in the CPOC to more effectively address the security concerns of the Davao City.
The primary duty and function of the CPOC are to formulate plans and recommend such measures as will improve or enhance peace and order and public safety in Davao City. It shall likewise perform such duties and functions as mandated by law or by applicable issuances made by appropriate authorities.
