For years, Atty. Jeff Coronel has been part of our office serving as a legal officer. He has been involved not just in papers but as well as community activities.

Today, he is part of the Villarica, Coronel. Pojas & Caharian Law Firm offering legal services to various clients.

In the virtue of looking back and giving back, their Law Firm partnered with our office and sponsored one of our beneficiary schools during Brigada Eskwela 2015. Their paint donations made a long way for the grooming of the classrooms in A. Bonifacio Elementary School, Talomo District.

Now, a new generation has continued the legacy and Atty. Jeff's son embodies it. Ethan Hawk Coronel joined his dad's colleague and Team Acosta in beautifying A. Bonofacio ES in preparation for the SY 2015-2016.

Truly, volunteerism knows no age. As long as your heart is willing and expects nothing in return, you can make a difference.

TEAM ACOSTA FOR BRIGADA ESKWELA 2015

May 18, 2015, Brigada Eskwela kicks off nationwide. Brigada Eskwela is an annual school maintenance activity held before the start of the school year wherein it brings together various individuals and groups who volunteer to groom the schools.

In partnership with Brgy. Kapitan Esmeraldo Pamat and School Head Mr. Primo Tatoy Jr. our day 1 of volunteering was successful in Langub elementary school wherein we painted and cleaned the gym as well as cleared the school grounds. Team Acosta also served the healthy and sumptuous Moringa lugaw to all the volunteers for more energy.

Brigada Eskwela 2015 with the theme "Tayo Para sa Kalinisan, Kaligtasan at Kahandaan ng Ating mga Paaralan" is scheduled on May 18-22, 2015. This is a weeklong volunteering activity for all of us.

2015 BRIGADA ESKWELA

Tayo ng magbrigada Eskwela!

For students, summer is still in the air but for the Department of Education, school days are somewhere in the corner. In preparation for the upcoming SY 2015-2016, DepEd together with the various stakeholders will commence the annual “Brigada Eskwela” on May 18-23, 2015. This school maintenance activity aims to improve our public schools that will in turn be conducive for students’ learning.

Thus, having this national effort, DepEd invites everyone to volunteer by helping clean and do maintenance services in the different schools nationwide. The department also encourages everyone to donate materials and other supplies that can be used in the repair and rehabilitation of school facilities.

Let us take part in this effort to contribute for the education of our younger generation. Be involved by VOLUNTEERING to the schools near you. Team Acosta will also take part of this huge activity, hence, if you would like to volunteer and provide manpower, you can contact us through numbers: (082) 222-0855 loc. 221 and look for Ms. Eden Colina. The Department of Education implemented the annual Brigada Eskwela (National Schools Maintenance Week) Program, wherein different stakeholders all over the country are encouraged to contribute their time, effort, and resources in ensuring that public schools are ready in time for school opening.

The Brigada Eskwela Program was initiated to create an environment for our schoolchildren that is conducive for learning with the help of the community. With your support, we can provide the high quality education that our children deserve.

On May 19, 2014 Brigada Eskwela officially began. The office of Hon. Coun. Mabel Sunga Acosta in partnership with the Davao Agila Riders participated in the event by lending their help to the Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in Barangay 28-C.
