Coun. Mabel Sunga Acosta has been a member of the Ambassador Club Davao since 2005 and was elected as Chapter Secretary for two consecutive (2) terms (2006 and 2007).

Ambassador Club is an international organization that has no political or religious affiliations. It is built on the idea of friendship, mutual trust, and dignity. It was founded in 1956 as a men’s club in Switzerland but starting 1996, ladies have been admitted as members. In the Philippines, it has already established seven (7) chapters, namely: Manila, Ortigas, Baguio, Palawan, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao. Members in the local chapter meet once a month in which meetings the Club Officers invite one Guest of Honor and Speaker to talk on certain topics that would help develop or enhance the social responsibility, health awareness, and environmental consciousness of each member.
