The Office of Councilor Acosta would like to thank the Board of Judges for taking a time out of their busy schedules to give us a helping hand in the success of the activity. Gratitude is likewise extended to our sponsors without which support the 2009 CJTY would not have been realized: Atty. Leoncio P. Villa-Abrille, Dr. Roy B. Ferrer, DIMDI Centre, Inc., FPJ Farms, Inc., and CBS Metal Craft.

CJTY is an annual search open to 3rd and 4th year students enrolled in any public secondary school in Davao City which has an active school paper. Launched in 2002, the competition aims to discover young talents in the field of campus journalism.
