The Roles, Powers, Functions and the Duties of Personnel Involved
in the Conduct of Administrative Investigations
Last October 18, 2013, the City Mayor
created an investigating committee which was tasked to conduct necessary
administrative proceedings related to complaints made involving employees of
the City Government.
To ensure proper observance of due process
and to avoid delay in the resolution of cases, the committee recommended the
need to amend and define further their functions.
The amendment involved the ff:
Sec. 1 – Creation of an Investigating
Committee
Sec. 3 – Quorum and Voting in Sessions
Sec. 4 – Special Administrative Prosecutor
Sec. 5 – Powers, Functions and Duties
Sec. 6 – Secretariat
Sec. 7 – Funding/Operating Costs
Sec. 8 – Separability Clause
Sec. 9 – Effectivity
