With the entry of the new administration in Davao City, the need to reconstitute the City Transport and Traffic Management Board (BOARD) is deemed necessary. The City Ordinance No. 0334-12 Series of 2012, entitled "The Comprehensive Transport and Traffic Code of Davao City also known as "Traffic Code" was created to ensure the City Government's effective and efficient governance for the promotion and protection of the general welfare.
The Board is chaired by the City Mayor and is effective upon approval unless revoked or modified on September 28, 2016.
