EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 36 Series of 2017

"AN ORDER ESTABLISHING THE KEAN GABRIEL ANTI-CHILD ABUSE PROGRAM OF DAVAO CITY"

The Kean Gabriel fatal child abuse case that shocked Davao City last September 2016, led to the creation of the City Executive Order No. 36 that initiated the establishment of the "Kean Gabriel Anti-Child Abuse Program of Davao City". 

This program would include the following:

1. Establishment of  the "Kean Gabriel Hotline" and  Kean Gabriel Rescue and Response Team (RRT)
2. Formulation of  mechanisms to properly address and prevent child abuses
3. Determination and preparation of  the budget for the operational expenses of the Kean Gabriel Anti-Child Abuse Program
4. Effective formulation and distribution of information and education
5. Coordination with various sectors of  Davao City in the promotion of the program
6. Recommendation to the City Mayor on the possible actions for cases responded by the program, and 
7. Other functions necessary in the operation of the program
