Councilor Mabel at PNP Flag Raising Ceremony

In line with the Celebration of the Women's Month, the Philippine National Police Regional Office XI invited Councilor Mabel Sunga Acosta as its Guest of Honor and Speaker during its March 3 Flag Raising Ceremony. No less than Police Regional Director XI, PC Supt. Andres G. Caro, welcomed Councilor Mabel.

The theme, " Singgit sa mga Kababayen-an: Panginabuhian ang Kahinanglan," inspired the Councilor to share with the women in uniform her experiences as a former air force pilot wife and how important for a woman to be self-sufficient. She even encouraged not only the PNP women but the spouses of the PNP men to avail of the Livelihood Skills Training offered by her office.

After the flag raising ceremony, Councilor Mabel with General Caro , PC Supt. Lino D. Calingasan, PSupt. Francisco J. Villaroman and CSSDO Chief Marilyn D. Agonia visited the PNP Day Care Center. Councilor Mabel greeted the beautiful children of the PNP and assessed the condition of the center.
