The Panagtagbo is a vibrant display of harmony and solidarity as the rich cultures of 11 tribes of Mindanao: The Ata, Matigsalug, Ovu-Manuvo, Klata-Djangan, Tagabawa, Tausog, Maguindanao, Maranao, Kagan, Sama & Iranun tribes gathered together in song, dance and laughter.

The celebration commenced with the Fluvial Parade wherein the different tribes showcased their culture through the display of their detailed and colorful floats (boats). The floats streamed along the Bankerohan River then docked beside the Agro field for the Panagtagbo.

Each tribe performed their traditional dances and presentations that entertained not just the locals but the foreign visitors as well.
Despite of the diversity of culture, the different tribes of Davao have proven that they can still gather as one. This proves that differences can be an asset for peace and unity within a city. Indeed, it brings an overview to the people of the Philippines and all over the world to recognize the different cultures and traditions of Davao City.
