Reception Dinner for the 11th Ambassadors' Tour

Davao City, the home of our beloved former Mayor now Head of the Country Pres. Rodrigo R. Duterte, welcomes the delegates of the 11th Ambassadors' Tour. This annual event is sphere-headed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism's Tourism Promotions Board and Rajah Tours. The delegation is comprised with Ambassadors, Consuls General, Tourism Directors and members of the Filipino-American Community. The tour aims to showcase the great treads in tourism, economic development and public safety in the Philippines, as the new Administration pave its way to sustainable development of the country.
Davao City, as the King City of the South and the homeland of His Excellency President Duterte, is the special highlight of the this year's tour. Dabawenyo Culture, as a melting pot of several Mindanaoan tribal cultures, offers a lot to its seekers. It is actually manifested by our mouth-watering, exquisite cuisine and delicacies, abundant harvest of delicious and exotic fruits like Durian, festive celebrations showcasing the tribal traditions and culture, to Dabawenyo esteemed law-abiding character and so much more. Indeed, life is here in Davao City.
As Davao City welcomes the arrival of the delegation of the 11th Ambassadors' Tour with a reception dinner at Waterfront Insular Hotel located at Lanang, Davao City, several Dabawenyo cuisine and delicacies together with several number of cultural dances exhibiting the several ethnic tribes in Davao City were presented to the delegation as a start of their 4-day Dabawenyo experience.
As Dabawenyos, it is indeed our calling to pass our living legacy to the next generations and to our beloved visitors, Filipino or not.
