Yuan Wang 6 - China Space Exploration Vessel Tour 

Yuan Wang 6 is a China Space Exploration Ship that belongs to China Maritime Tracking and Control Department ( CMTC). It was built for ship construction, voyage meteorology, electronics, mechanics, photic, communication and computer fields. It possesses multi-radar facilities that could track and control space vehicles such as the rockets, satellites, spaceships, and space stations.

The main operation of the Yuan Wang 6 is the blue ocean itself where it can perform tracking missions in any ocean area between latitude 60 degrees North and 60 degrees South with maximum sailing speed of 20 knots per hour with 12- level wind resistance ability.

The Yuan Wang had been finishing 50 tracking and control missions like the Manned Space Launch Project, Lunar Exploration Space Project and the Beidou Compass Project. The vessel have estimated 300 crews that would operate the project for the span of 1,400 days.

So far, the ship has sailed 340,000 sea miles and has visited 5 ports of 5 countries for 23 times.Yet, they had visited Davao City last December 2010 and was satisfied in their stay. Now, they are visiting Davao City to replenish their supplies and to show to the world that Davao City is safe in spite of the declaration of Martial Law in support to Pres. Rodrigo R. Duterte.

In fact, they have extended their gratitude on our warm welcome and wonderful stay with us here in Davao City. They are looking forward for deep communication with us and for future visits.
