Cannes Film Festival is an annual event held in France. This was founded in 1946 and now awards exemplary movies and actors around the world.
Ma' Rosa on the other hand, was enlisted to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The movie is all about a mom named Rosa who is married to Nestor. The couple has four children and has a little business called in Filipino "Sari-sari Store". Due to poverty and inadequate supplies to meet for the need of the family, they also sell illegal drugs- "ice" (crystal meth).
Their family business then was discovered by the police leading Rosa and Nestor to jail. The authorities then asked for bribe. The children then looked for their own way to provide the money and free their parents.
